Fine weather was the order of the day at Earlsferry beach for this summer season re-visit. Early arrivals on the beach were emptying beach huts and organising their space, settling in for a day at the beach. This is the western end of a long, sweeping strand that culminates in Elie Harbour. The sand is golden brown, soft and welcoming under foot. All the facilities a visitor might need are close at hand, including fine views out to the sea.
