manonabeach always seeks to represent respondents’ answers to the question “What does the beach mean to you…?” in an accurate and respectful way. Interviewees are shown their films after recording and agree to their narratives being included in the project.
If any interviewees prefer on reflection not to have their narrative used, they can use the Contact and Your Answers page on the website to have their film not used in the development of manonabeach, which is a commercial website, supported by businesses in Cornwall, Norfolk, Suffolk, Sussex, Dorset, East Lothian, Fife, Moray, Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen and Angus, currently seen in 114 countries.
Since 25th July, 2012, interviewees have been asked to sign a release form, formalising their agreement to be included in the project.
Thanks to all those who have joined in, helping to develop manonabeach to show people who can’t be there the enhancing effect of the beach.
