Season: autumn
This is a peaceful spot, with excellent coastal walking and fine views out over Morecambe Bay. The beach is shingle, soon switching to the sand of the bay further out. St Cuthbert’s Church is right by the beach, adding to an Olde Worlde feel at Aldingham. Dogs are welcome and a stroll here is a rejuvenating tonic.
