Season: summer
Located a couple of miles from Holyhead, this is considered to be one of Anglesey’s best beaches. In terms of variety, that’s understandable. The expansive, sandy beach is ideal for families, but it can also accommodate water sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing. Trearddur Bay is family friendly and has excellent water quality for bathing. The nearby coast path is accessible and invigorating, whilst behind the beach there is the site of an ancient burial ground, excavated in 2003. In short, there’s plenty for everyone at Trearddur Bay.
