Season: summer
Although there is plenty of sand at Rhosneigr beach, it is also rocky. Its exposed location makes it ideal for windsurfing and water sports for experienced practitioners, but the sea can be lively for swimming, despite the excellent water quality. The beach has earned the Green Coast Award and is recommended by the Marine Conservation Society. There’s a slipway to assist with boating, as well as nearby cafes and shops. This area is a popular surfing spot too.
