Season: summer
This sandy beach has Blue Flag status, including excellent bathing water quality. With a National Nature Reserve nearby, birdwatching is a popular pastime. Water sports abound, as on so many of the west facing Anglesey beaches, specifically windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. Being in the south west corner of the island, there are fine views across to the Snowdonia National Park too. Llanddwyn Beach benefits from extensive dunes and a forest behind the beach itself, confirming the natural, unspoilt atmosphere in this beautiful place.
Nick is in a relaxed mood at the beach.
