Season: summer
West Shore is the quieter of the two Llandudno beaches, sitting in the lea of The Great Orme. With all the usual facilities available in the adjacent town, there is also excellent access from here to the Great Orme National Park, with its fine walks and scenery. Windsurfing and kitesurfing are popular pastimes on the expansive beach, which also attracts those who like to get away from the hustle of the town’s busier North Shore beach, sitting across the peninsula.
You’re never alone at the beach.
A warm, misty morning at West Shore beach.
Llandudno has a pod of breeding seals. A great place to spot nature.
Thanks for the website, I was going to cancel my visit to Llandudno, but your website informed me about dogs being allowed on West Beach, so we re going tomorow, looking forward to it.
