Season: spring

Located three miles east of Cullen, this is one of the Moray beaches in the North East Scotland region.  Sandend itself is a charming fishing village.   Stretching half a mile to the east of the village, the sandy beach ends at the mouth of the Burn of Fordyce.  This bay is a popular visitor attraction for surfers, holiday makers and day trippers, being quaint and full of character.  Highly recommended.
