Blackwaterfoot beach is a long strand, located in front of a golf course, like so many of the Scottish beaches. It sits by the eponymous town, benefiting from the facilities that it offers, including good parking. The beach is sandy, with large pebbles and sits at the foot of steep cliffs. You really feel away from it all here. This is one of those beaches where you lose yourself on a walk along it, then catch yourself wondering how far you’ve walked. Highly recommended.
The beach through decades for Geoff.
