Season: autumn
Sitting just north of neighbouring Glenarm beach, Carnlough benefits from its proximity to the beautiful Glens of Antrim, a walker’s paradise. The beach here is crescent-shaped and sandy, with a small harbour at the northern end. Boat trips are popular and there is a peaceful ambiance in the village, which is welcoming and attractive. This is a village and beach well suited to quiet reflection.

On the beach at Carnlough.
The beach means the sunrises, the silver moonstreams and the constant lighthouse beam, which lights up each night.
