Season: spring
Located three miles east of Cullen, this is one of the Moray beaches in the North East Scotland region. Sandend itself is a charming fishing village. Stretching half a mile to the east of the village, the sandy beach ends at the mouth of the Burn of Fordyce. This bay is a popular visitor attraction for surfers, holidaymakers and day trippers, being quaint and full of character.
