Season: spring

Fraserburgh beach has a fine arc to it and a rural feel, despite its proximity to the town.  The town has all the facilities you might need and has a proud heritage, both for its fishing and for its national lighthouse museum.  Fraserburgh is the most easterly point in these islands and has a frontier nature, as the last landfall before the sea.  I had the pleasure of a visit to The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, the source for this seasonal interview.
