Fraserburgh beach has a fine arc to it and a rural feel, despite its proximity to the town. The town has all the facilities you might need and a proud heritage, both for its fishing and national lighthouse museum. Fraserburgh is the most easterly point in these islands and has a frontier nature, the last landfall before the sea. I had the pleasure of a visit to the Scottish National Lighthouse Museum, the source for this seasonal interview.
