Season: summer
Druridge Bay has a long stretch of sandy beach, which is privately owned and which stretches from Amble to Cresswell. It is divided into Druridge Bay North, running between the Northumberland Coast Country Park and the National Trust property and Druridge Bay South. There are picnic areas and nature trails and the whole area is a wildlife haven, with regular sightings of graylag and pink-footed geese, as well as grasshopper warblers. For the more adventurous, cycling and water sports are popular here.
What the beach means to Janet.
A fine afternoon at Druridge Bay.
