Season: autumn
I’ve used the general description “Carradale” for this beach page to showcase the variety of attractions here. This is foremost a working fishing harbour and the village is welcoming, but there’s also the stunning Port Righ beach, located just south of Carradale Bay, which has its own sweeping sandy beach, leading you along to Carradale Point. You have to make an effort to get to Carradale, as it’s off the main route, but it’s well worth the effort.
