Season: autumn
Located just to the east of Portrush and sitting adjacent to its Championship Golf Course, White Rocks is a beautiful, sandy Blue Flag beach. The limestone cliffs hereabouts are striking, with evocative names like Shelagh’s Head, Lion’s Paw and Elephant Rock. Surfing is popular. The excellent quality of the bathing water makes this a favourite swimming beach, being sheltered and safe for children, with a seasonal lifeguard service.
What the beach means in the early morning to Sheral.
