Once a thriving fishing village serving Red Bay, this is now a popular visitor beach, with the striking backdrop of Glenariff, sand dunes at the southern end of the beach and the village of Waterfoot at the northern end. The atmosphere is peaceful here and there’s a pleasant arc to the sandy beach. Access is good and there are shops, eateries and bars in the village.
