Mill Strand, also known as West Strand, sits just to the west of Ramore Head in Portrush, in front of the railway station. This is a Blue Flag beach, regularly cleaned and with excellent bathing water quality. There’s an attractive harbour at the northern end and the town is most welcoming and geared up for visitors. A large car park is close by and there is a long promenade that runs behind the beach. In short, Mill Strand is attractive, characterful and convenient.
