The well-resourced town is used a s a base for visiting nearby attractions, such as The Giant’s Causeway and the Glens of Antrim. The beach has a 74 berth marina at one end and the River Margy runs to the sea over the beach. Surfing is popular and swimming is safe in the clean bathing water.
