Although Hemsby beach is popular for water sports, including surfing and canoeing, there is plenty of room and a natural feel here. The bathing water is first class and there is abundant wildlife in the extensive nearby dune system. Behind the beach the road to Hemsby village has amusement arcades and beach shops, so there’s something for everyone here. The tide isn’t an issue and the sand is soft and widespread at any point of the day. The beach is two miles long, so it’s easy to find a secluded sunbathing spot too.
What the beach means to Jade, Dave and Jenny
