St Mildred’s Bay is sandy, with a promenade and cliffs, as well as good access to the adjacent towns of Westgate and Margate. There’s a tidal pool for swimming in the clean bathing water, plus seasonal lifeguard cover. All the main water sports are available to the visitor, including windsurfing, sailing and boating, supported by a slipway. There’s a cafe / restaurant, beach huts and even deck chairs for hire. A good visitor location for all the family.
