Season: autumn
Seasalter has a sand and shingle beach, lying adjacent to the upmarket town. There are water sports available for the visitor and there’s a slipway for sailing boats. Waterskiing is particularly popular here, along with fine dining and the local speciality, oysters. The beach is subdivided by groynes and there are views to the Isle of Sheppey across the River Swale. You invariably take away a sense of well-being from a visit to this beach.
Diana, by the sea.
Groynes all the way at Seasalter beach.
