Despite its significant archeological associations, including evidence through worked flints of some of the earliest human activity in the UK, Pakefield has a charming beach, dotted with fishing boats and conveniently near to Lowestoft. St Margaret’s and All Saints Church exude historical charm, but its character is now that of a bolthole, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
