Season: autumn
This beautiful, unspoilt beach is looked after by the National Trust. Backed by dunes where wild flowers bloom in early summer, the flat sandy beach is a haven for wildlife, making this is a wonderful “get away from it all” location. Sheltered from the prevailing winds by its headland, there’s a tranquility here that belies its proximity to the popular Giant’s Causeway further along the North Antrim coast.
