Ardfern is a yachting haven at the foot of the Craignish peninsula, facing Loch Craignish. An influx of well-heeled visitors in the summer enables the indigenous population of four hundred to support a village store, a cafe and a school, as well as galleries and eateries for the tourists and leisure sailors. Nowadays the yachting centre is a hive of activity, with many boat owners using Ardfern as a base to explore the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.
