Located just south of Sea Palling, Waxham Sands, as it’s also known at the southern end, falls within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Like Horsey Gap, this is a great location for seal spotting, particularly in the winter, but the sandy beach itself is a joy to walk on. The beach is isolated and little known, with no facilities. If you’re after peace and tranquility in an exquisite natural setting, this is the place for you, also welcoming dogs all year round. Highly recommended, a Norfolk gem.
