Season: summer
Located on the southern side of the Llyn peninsula, Abersoch’s beach has Blue Flag status. As well as the excellent bathing water quality and seasonal lifeguard cover, the beach is regularly cleaned in the summer. Abersoch is a Mecca for water sports and a popular spot for sailing. Boat trips run out to St Tudwal and Bardsea Island. There are great views of the mountains of West Wales from here and you can surf around the corner at Hell’s Mouth or Porth Ceriad.
What the beach means to Joanna.
The sandy beach at Abersoch.
Abersoch beach to us is the main attraction which brings families to one place in our beautiful village. The beach provides no cost enjoyment for all and there is a sense of safety due to the panoramic outlook and calm waters. The beach means golden sands, safe boating, ice creams and sun!
