Season: summer
Robin Hood’s Bay is steeped in history and even has a smugglers’ tunnel running right under the village. It’s also part of the “Dinosaur Coast” and considered to be a geological wonderland. Families are also attracted here, favouring the sandy parts of the beach. A narrow, winding access road leads you down to the beach and the town is a popular visitor location with many holiday homes. There are good local pubs and restaurants in the area, as well as moorings for small boats.
